Online and Semi-Offline
Safe Spaces for Women
The objective of the Online and Semi-Offline Safe Spaces initiative is to create a supportive and empowering environment for women to engage in critical discussions and activities related to Media Information and Literacy (MIL), Gender-Based Violence (GBV) inclusive of Mental Health and Healing on Post-Conflict Trauma, and Cybersecurity and Privacy.
Empowering women to engage in critical discussions and activities
Our focus:
Media Information and Literacy (MIL)
In the digital age, media significantly influences opinions, behaviors, and amplifies voices. However, the rise of disinformation, hate speech, and harmful content necessitates equipping women with skills to navigate this landscape effectively. These training sessions aims to empower women with the knowledge and tools needed to critically engage with media, counter disinformation, and advocate for positive community change.
Gender-Based Violence (GBV)

The ongoing program, with its well-structured methodology and interactive approach, is actively empowering women to foster safer and more inclusive communities.

The Cyber Security Training Sessions for the Online and Semi-Offline Safe Space for Women are proving to be instrumental in boosting digital security awareness and skills among women in Ethiopia.
