As part of the
#AFFCameroon fellowship, our fellows cohort 8 are expected to take part in a bootcamp to Seme Beach Hôtel tomorrow to deeper their skills on
#Factchecking through practical simulations of
#FakeNews life cycle, debunking strategies and data collection in other to better mitigate dis/misinformation in our local environment

Our 3rd onsite of the #AfricaFactCheckingFellowship taking place in Limbe, we are being drilled on different methods and tools needed in the verification of information.
Hate speech, misinformation, and misinformation are rampant in the online spaces and mainstream media today, as is the widespread use of Artificial Intelligence, which, despite its opportunities, also presents potential threats that could be brought to the media and information ecosystem.
