#PeaceWaivers2023: Cohort 1 Countering/Mitigation Hate Speech & Violence online & offline.

Meet the cohort 1 #PeaceWaivers as they set out on a journey to #BuildPeace in their communities. From Nov. 2-3, 2023, they shall be gaining hands-on skills on ways to tackle the different forms of #HateSpeech & violent attacks they experience in their communities.
A two day bootcamp organized with the aim of re-enforcing the capacities of 30 youth leaders of the SW and NW to raise awareness on the dangers of hate speech and violence online and offline.
This cross-cultural exchange and dialogue around conflict resolution will give them a wide scoop of how to tackle the different forms of hate speech and violent attacks they will have to resolve in their communities.
This 1st cohort shall also have the opportunity to be drilled by seasoned panelists in the likes of Baiye Ebai Frida Dr. Sakah Bernard Besong Bawack Mallet Dr. Emile Sunjo, Dr. Zoneziwoh Mbondgulo-Wondieh Dr. @wung Hans, Desmond Ngala and Dr. Kinang Derick.
 
On the agenda for these two days, shall be capacity building on the role of youths and their actions towards community #PeaceBuilding and #ConflictPrevention through advocacy, mediation and negotiations for #Peace and #SocialCohesion.
