On 06/03/2024, we shall be organizing a workshop on the review of a gender based violence guide for a production of #defyhatenow aimed to sensitize, educate &empower everyone towards steps in creating a safer & equitable world.

Gender-based violence is a phenomenon deeply rooted in gender inequality which continues to be one of the most notable human rights violations within all societies today.

It is an act directed against a person because of their gender. Women and men experience gender-based violence but the must reported cases have been women and girls, and aims to increase awareness, educate, facilitate discussions, and empower everyone to take steps towards creating a safer and more equitable world.

Gender based violence is not a topic only for women, men too should be included in this conversation. Thatโ€™s why presently in Douala, the #defyhatenow GBV guide review is ongoing with different stakeholders.

Stay tuned for updates from Doualaโ€ฆ
