#AFFCameroon COHORT 9, 3rd Session.

HE LAST BEND FOR #AFFCameroon COHORT 9

For their last session, the #AFFCameroon cohort 9 fellows have gathered in Limbe, yesterday evening was an opportunity to get further tips on ways to easily and nicely write great #FactChecking articles as drawn from other counter parts from across Africa as the #AFFC coordinator @Donald Tchiengue shared experiences of his trips to the Mauritius Island and South Africa with the fellows.

For these 3 days, we shall be finding out from them through their exposés how ready they are to go out there and officially begin the journey as skilled checkers of information in Cameroon.

#AFFCameroon growing in number and Impact. This #defyhatenow project that has been gathering journalists, bloggers, content creators, community leaders and digital rights activists in Cameroon for over 3 years now is growing not only in number but impact.

Glad to see Alumni fellows of the 5th Cohort today mentors and facilitators for the 9th cohort, to pass on to the younger fellows what they gained through trainings and experiences they have so far gathered through hands on exercises in their different media houses and organisations.

Donald Tchiengue now #AFFCameroon lead and digital coordinator at Defyhatenow_WCA, Jacques Chancelin doctoral student at ESSTIC and CamerSic Lead; and Boris-Karloff Batata manager at CBS radio Buea. This project has opened up collaborations and opportunities not only at the national but international level as well.

It has been an all round interesting journey with you all #AFFCameroon cohort 9 fellows; Klove Kamdem Bea MayangLenae MartinezLisa MbiybeNkemngong Efuetji MaryElsa ChepingRomulus KuessiéBerinyuy CajetanSolière Paka Fabrice Bwamou Ngobeu Mimbe Hervé Cédric @Rene Nkowa Mohamed Nacer Njoya Kouotou Mbaku JudeNgombet Claudia..
