Africa Check in collaboration with #defyhatenow is hosting a two-day fact-checking and verification masterclass in Cameroon for journalists from 9am to 4pm on 22 -23 June 2023. The training will cover the types of false information (dis- and misinformation); how and why false information spreads; using online tools to verify information, images and videos; finding accurate data from credible sources; and how to apply fact-checking methodology in your daily reporting.
