I am Njodzeka Therese, Finance coordinator for #defyhatenow Cameroon, my first reason for choosing this finance  field is career acceleration and significant growth opportunities. There is no structure that functions without a finance department be it profit or non profit.

As a woman, one of the challenges I encounter is the  problem of inclusion either because I am a woman or a mother. In order to overcome this challenge I continue to showcase my competence  and equally by sensitization that is ; What a man can do, a woman can do even better.

I have a lot of young girls who couldn’t make it in life because they were not given the opportunity because of their sex or because they were born female.
